Context:
A montage effect with a voice over narrating events. With close attention to mise-en-scene, cinematography and editing to traverse a number of decades. Twist ending.

Aims:
A playful, experimental short film intended for a predominantly arthouse audience. Comparative texts include Madame Tutli Putli, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Moonrise Kingdom, Water Babies.
Context:
Focussing on experimental art cinema exploring the use of lighting techniques and visual motifs similar to Wes Anderson to aid the narrative. Includes an element of animation.

A lo-fi, mockumentary / Sci-fi hybrid inspired by mockumentaries such as TV shows The Office and films Best in Show, What we do in Shadows.
Context:
The film has an arthouse, independent style including subtitles and an open ending. There are elements of postmodernism with the intertextuality employed.
